When I was laid off, I received the last paycheck, which was two weeks' pay, and it also included any of my unused PTO.

I got myself into really horrible cycles of pretty much using my entire paycheck that month, and then also charging things on my credit card.

The challenges I faced buying a house was the fact that I'm not full-time, so I don't have the proof of like consistent paycheck and income.
