Just because consciousness and intelligence go together in us does not mean that they go together in general.

This is some of what we might think and feel if we ever became those paragons of true intelligence: emotionally mature people.

There's another surprising uh element of this experiment which is they then repeated it with artificial intelligence models and even the artificial intelligence models did badly.
