But how are we going to stay up all night?
: You and I would stay up till 12 o'clock at night waiting to make that phone call to Pakistan, reminding them that we were inquiring about a child.
You can’t just set it directly on a foundation, at least not if you want it to stay up.
But there is no other force countering gravity instead, the trick to staying up is a ‘sideways’ motion that we call an orbit.
We know that earth’s gravity pulls everything towards it, including the Moon, but somehow, it stays up, as if suspended by some opposite force.
And we stayed up late talking and we called it the awakening, that there are other planets out there and it'll be even bigger awakening when we do find signs of life to regroup our own thinking.
